Job Description:

Peloton is currently seeking a highly motived, team-oriented candidate for the position of Research Associate, Biochemistry. This is an exciting opportunity to support core drug discovery activities for the development of novel small molecule cancer therapeutics and contribute significantly to the growth of an emerging, well-positioned biotechnology company. Major responsibilities will include developing and implementing biochemical and cell-based assays to support lead optimization, and elucidating mechanism of action of drug candidates.

Job Requirements:

This position requires a BS in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, or related field. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and performing enzymatic and binding assays.  Familiarity with fundamentals of enzyme kinetics is essential. Experience in mammalian cell culture is also highly desirable. Strong written/verbal communication skills are essential as is the ability to work with minimal supervision within a supportive team environment.
