The bionorthTX Annual iC3 Life Science Summit provides life science companies (biotechnology, medical device, pharmaceutical, and diagnostics) executives, academia, investors, and industry support organizations an opportunity to meet in one place during the course of the region’s largest annual conference.
Hear from dynamic speakers, network with industry professionals, meet local and university talent, hear from investors in life sciences, and get your company noticed though sponsorships and event marketing. The 2015 Summit brought together 275 for our first event. This year we anticipate 350-400 attendees.

The “Helix” Award
The “Helix” award is given out annual at the iC3 Life Science Summit to an individual who has positively impacted human health by raising awareness and funds for biomedical research, to someone who has impacted innovation to bring it to commercial relevance, and to someone who has given back to their community and those in the scientific field as a supporter, mentor, leader, and educator.
At the inaugural iC3 on September 30th, 2015, Phil Ralston, Founder and CEO of MacuClear, posthumously received the first Helix Award. His award was accepted by wife, Viki Ralston. Phil led MacuCLEAR, Inc. for more than nine years. He took on the challenge of bringing Dr. George Chiou’s exciting discovery from the university laboratory to the marketplace because he was motivated to help people fight the terrible diagnosis of macular degeneration. His tenacious leadership and effortless dedication to the mission of MacuCLEAR has moved the technology from discovery to the clinic. Phil’s vision for the progress of the future of MacuCLEAR never wavered. His leadership, experience, knowledge and drive will be missed.
bionorthTX is proud to have the University of Texas at Arlington as our host for this year’s Summit. The UTA College Park Center which opened in February of 2012, represents a dream come true for a generation of alumni, faculty, staff, and community members. And for the next generation of students, it offers a vision of great things to come. Located deep in the heart of downtown Arlington, its location was strategically chosen to help lure both the Arlington community and the nearly 33,000 UT Arlington college students to the revitalized downtown area.
College Park Center is home to the WNBA Dallas Wings and the University’s men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball teams, and to numerous high-profile events and entertainment, conferences, and community activities. As part of its commitment to academic excellence, the University has devoted significant space to an academic support study center with a study hall, computer lab, group study room, and areas for academic advising.
College Park Center is an indoor, multi-purpose arena on The University of Texas at Arlington campus in Arlington, Texas, United States. It seats up to 7,000 spectators.
