Niranjan Kulkarni, Ph.D., Director of Operations Improvement with CRB presents “Simulations Application in Biopharmaceuticals”
Thursday, March 22 from 7:30AM – 9:00AM
Dr. Kulkarni will present on why it is better to perform simulations rather than experimenting on the real system. Simulation models can be used to depict actual system dynamics that includes time, events and the changes that occur over time. They further have the ability to model variability and stochastic events, and perform what-if analyses. This session demonstrates how process simulations can be used to address bottlenecks in both production and support functions, evaluate capacities, improve designs/layout and develop strategies within the biopharmaceutical domain.
Key learning objectives for attendees:
1) Discussion on different modeling techniques and tools.
2) Learn how simulations can help justify your business case and improve your decision-making process. Case studies will be presented.
3) Identify which modeling strategy to apply during the decision-making process.
Networking time will be available before and after the presentation. Continental breakfast served.
